Inspection services relating to independent acceptance of raw materials on mining and smelting enterprises and enterprises of coal and by-product-coking industry are as follows:

  • Monitoring of re-weighing operations for incoming raw materials, acceptance as per quantity and weight;
  • Monitoring of production process;
  • Sampling and sample preparation;
  • Analysis of withdrawn samples according to specifications that require supervision, in accordance with GOST methods or international standards specified by the Client;
  • Monitoring of analysis procedures carrying out in plant laboratories;
  • Monitoring of weighing procedure and calculation of finished commodities during shipping;
  • Daily reporting to the Client on the progress of inspection.

Inspection services relating to acceptance of commodities in loading ports are as follows:

  • Inspection of rail cars for cleanliness prior to loading;
  • Witness control of weighbridge operations;
  • Review of the manufacturer’s certificates of quantity and quality, railway bills, port acceptance acts issued for the inspected lots of cargo;
  • Determination of cargo quantity at the storage with mine survey;
  • Visual inspection of cargo condition during discharge from rail cars or at the port warehouse;
  • Sampling from the port warehouse;
  • Photos (digital or paper) reflecting condition of rail cars, cargoes, loading operations;
  • Detailed daily reports on the progress of loading operations, results of inspections performed;
  • Twenty-four-hour detailed reporting to the Client on any irregularities / accidents / damages or any other abnormal situations that may affect quality or quantity of cargo;
  • Issuance of international certificates as a result of the inspection performed.

Inspection services relating to loading operations onto the vessel:

  • Inspection of the vessel’s holds / tanks before loading for cleanliness and suitability to carry intended cargo;
  • Inspection of the vessel’s hatch covers for watertightness;
  • Determination of cargo quantity on the basis of Draft Survey (initial, final, intermediate);
  • Visual inspection of cargo condition during loading on board the vessel;
  • Representative sampling during loading on board the vessel;
  • Analysis of withdrawn samples according to specifications that require supervision, in accordance with GOST methods or international standards specified by the Client;
  • Continuous supervision of all cargo handling operations in the port;
  • Radiation monitoring of the cargo;
  • Photos (digital or paper) reflecting condition of vessel’s holds before loading, cargoes, loading operations;
  • Detailed daily reports on the progress of loading / discharging operations, results of inspections performed;
  • Twenty-four-hour detailed reporting to the Client on any irregularities / accidents / damages or any other abnormal situations that may affect quality or quantity of cargo;
  • Issuance of international certificates as a result of the inspection performed
